Mint Directors Conference
The objects of the Conference are the exchange of information on all monetary matters and related legal, economic, technical, administrative and numismatic questions of common interest. The co-operation in the study and mutual solution of questions in these spheres. And the promotion of study and research into all coin-related matters including the implications of new means of payment.
   
 
Mint Directors Conference in 2006
The Monnaie de Paris, with characteristic style, has planned an extraordinarily eventful conference to include days of discussion and learning, and evenings of experiencing French culture and cuisine. Our hosts also will be opening two world-renowned mints for our visits – in Paris and Passac.
   
 

European Anti-Fraud Office
In order to protect the financial interests of the European Communities, in particular by preventing fraud, the Commission established within itself, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) by EC/CECA Decision 1999/352 of 28 April 1999. The Office was given the responsibility for conducting independant administrative anti-fraud investigations. Within OLAF, the unit "Protection of the Euro" acts in legislative, training and assistance domains for Member States and European institutions; it also deals with technical and scientific issues related to euro coins via the ETSC, European Technical and Scientific Centre, hosted by the Laboratory of the French Mint. .
